Plastics processing industry

In the plastics industry, cooling temperature typically range between 5°C and 25°C. Precise temperature control of production processes is necessary for consistent production results. The generated heat in the production process is dissipated by a chiller. To save energy, it is addiontally beneficial to operate with two different temperature levels. Colder temperatures are required for the tool circuit, while higher cooling temperatures are sufficient for hydraulic cooling of the presses.

In case the chillers are located outdoors, you should operate with a water-glycol mixture as antifreeze, containing corrosion inhibitors and stabilizers for safe operation. In this regard, we recommend our POLAR antifreeze mixtures.

Electroplating industry

The temperatures of electroplating processes are significantly higher than in the plastics industry. If the processes are not cooled, its temperature runs high and safe production is disrupted. In the cold months of the year, free coolers are sufficient to keep the process temperatures constant, but in summer the outside temperatures rise, creating situations in which cooling via free coolers is no longer sufficient. Rental chillers will help you to bridge the period of weather in the summer months and to keep your business running.

Tunnelling

Low temperatue cooling systems are used as ground freezing machines. They play a crucial role in a specialised construction technique where soil is solidified and rendered impermeable to water through artificial freezing. This resulting frozen mass provides essential stability to the ground, shielding it from water infiltration and potential collapse. Construction activities can then proceed safely. The refrigeration unit sustains the freezing process until the structure achieves sufficient inherent stability. Typically, freezing operations are conducted within an average temperature range of -15°C to -40°C.

Food industry

In the food industry, cooling temperature are typically lower than -18°C, making the use of water as a coolant impractical. Instead, water-glyocal mixtures such as our POLAR antifreeze solution are employed. These coolant agents are effective for temperatures down to -40°C. Traditional chiller units are not suitable for such low temperatures, particularly during summer months, necessitating the use of our low-temperature systems.

Rental systems for mobile ice rinks

Ice rinks need a cooling temperature below -10°C, making the use of water as a coolant impractical. Using our POLAR antifreeze concentrates, the ice surface can be frozen and operated safely. Specifically, POLAR propylene glycol mixtures are predominantly utilized. In our rental fleet, we offer chiller units with extended operating capabilities, allowing our refrigeration machines to function in sub-zero conditions.
